MVZ is a title I was vaguely familiar with before ever coming to Zipie. After stalking our Instagram (yikes), I knew that it was an award given quarterly to our Most Valuable Zipponian. Each month, we have the opportunity to say something awesome about our fellow Zipponians, someone who’s gone above and beyond and helped keep Zipie running smoothly.
Zipie prides itself on our office culture and the people we work with. We collectively have decades of experience in our specific fields and work hard to solve your business problems. But we are also humans who come to work every day, ready for new challenges and we spend a lot of time together, whether we’re working or planning to see Avengers: Endgame (don’t even get me started). In other words: Zipie is all about people.
As a recent MVZ winner, I can tell you it feels awesome to be a part of a team who values the work you’ve done and the skills you bring to the table. We’re always looking for ways to build each other up: our president encourages us to seek out opportunities to show kindness and we have a continued affinity for making each other coffee and lending a helping hand to other departments. It reminds us, every day, that we’re in this together—the crazy, fast-paced momentum of a growing advertising agency and the movies after work. It’s all what makes us excited to come to work in the morning. That, and the coffee and donuts.
Show a little kindness to your coworkers today! Shout ‘em out for all they do. It’ll make work seem less like work and a little more like family.
