One Last 'Thank You' Note

Dear Reader,

As my college career comes to an end, I have a lot to be thankful for. Thankful for friends that will be with me for life. Thankful to be a part of such a wonderful University (Go Cats!). Thankful to be a part of  meaningful experiences; interning for Zipie being one of those experiences. When asked what my favorite part about interning for Zipie was by my friends and family, I had to pause for a second. I could say that my favorite part was the constant smell of coffee that wafts through Suite 250 in the morning or that I loved when someone would play Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground” or The Beatles “Come Together” on the turn-table, instantly boosting the mood of everyone in the room. While the aforementioned traits brightened my days at Zipie, the people that I had the pleasure of working with truly make it fun to come to work.

At the top you have President, Nate Spry. Sure he is other-worldly smart, but his humble nature is what brings all the talented people that work for Zipie together. That gravitas extends to his right hand woman, Nicole Marcum. A recent mother and actual superhero, Nicole makes sure tasks are completed and every employee is doing what they need to do to keep clients happy. Over in the creative department, you have Caleb and Claireworking hard to provide the best graphics and designs for every project. Last, but certainly not least, you have the three women whom I have worked with closely; Bailey, Makenzie, and Porchia. Each has taught me how the advertising industry works and has provided me with the tools necessary to make an impact in this industry moving forward.

This final statement is one that comes from the heart: These are truly great people to work with. Whether you are a prospective client looking to improve your marketing strategy or a student looking to take a leg up on your peers, this is the company for you. A clear vision, coupled with the wonderful personalities involved makes for a great experience and even greater work.

Warm Regards,

Palmer Reynolds

Summer ’19 & Spring ’20 Intern

(P.S. Shout out to all the interns that I have worked with! You have made my experience great too!)
